Namai. Namai is a New York-based zero waste brand founded by Bianca Kuttickattu in 2020. Namai is dedicated to creating garments from second-hand Kantha fabrics sourced from Jaipur, standing the test of time. Kantha quilting is a traditional Bengali art of joining and embroidering fabrics and saris. By the time the patterns are sewn, the fabric is in its third life cycle and has passed through the hands of generations of women. By combining high-impact colors and patterns with low-impact production, Namai envisions a future for fashion that respects the environment, while celebrating the unique history of each piece.
